This is from the Castelo de São Jorge. These creepy faces are actually all over the city. Usually found in water fountains, and generally falling apart, but I think it just makes them look better. I also like the wonky eyes. I can't say if it is poor craftsmanship or just a few hundred years of wear and tear.
