This is the Roman Temple of Évora in the town of Évora, about an hour drive from Lisbon. The temple dates back about 1800 years. Évora is very interesting not only because of these ruins, but also it has an aqueduct, it is a walled city, was conquered by the Moors and parts of the city show an interesting blend/contrast of Roman and Moorish architecture.
