From Carrots from Heaven

I've mentioned the large amount of construction that seems to occur in all places and at all times here in Lisbon. Our little block with about 8 apartment buildings has 2 empty buildings being fixed up, 2 other buildings that are completely empty, and our building is only half full.

I don't know why it is like this, it just is. Anyway, this photo is of two buildings at the far corner of our block. They were knocked down this week and I guess will be replaced with some more empty housing.

I also felt they guy spraying the dust down with the garden hose was nearly crushed by debris every few moments. Kind of interesting to watch, maybe in a few months the whole area will be built back up.
