This is our first blog and our first post. Welcome and we hope you enjoy everything you read, see, and hear.

Nancy and I will both be adding posts, photos, and occasionally videos so you can see what we are up to in Lisbon and beyond.

We arrived in Lisbon 12 days ago - so here are are some photos of our neighborhood.



This is what just about every street in our neighborhood looks like. We live on a more narrow road though, so no trees or center parking area, but we can see into all of our neighbors windows.






Lots of buildings in Lisbon have tiles on them, and lots of tiles are falling apart like this.






Nancy on our first day. Awake about 30 hours and searching for food and she still looks kinda happy.






This is Parque Eduardo VII. More info here. It is about a two minute walk from our place. You can see straight to the Tagus River (rio Tejo - in Portuguese). Note the red tile roofs in the distance.
